What 10 knife YouTubers I watch actually carry

“One knife though has dominated all of them,” he says (at 12:37): the Spyderco Manix 2 in MagnaMax steel, his number one carry for the month before this video. He says that is mainly because he was testing it more than usual.

Also in his top five: a Demko Shark-A-Tac, a production Dalibor Bergam Draco and the CIVIVI Elite Brova, which he calls “the best CIVIVI that has ever come from the company” (at 6:00).

I own a Manix 2 too, in CruWear rather than MagnaMax. It is one of my knives that work in either hand.

Victorinox Companion Slim

Host David C. Andersen: “the Swiss Army knife that today I carry every day” is the Victorinox Companion Slim (at 2:44). It has no regular knife blade. He doesn’t mind, he says, because he is usually carrying a primary pocket knife anyway (at 3:15).

Work Sharp RMX

His most carried knife of 2026 as of Jul 12, “without a doubt, again, not even close” (at 23:37): a Work Sharp RMX. His is a mix Work Sharp never sold, a raw magnesium handle with a drop point thumb stud blade.

Next most carried: a Chris Reeve Umnumzaan (at 24:37). He also carries two of his own designs: the CIVIVI Clingman in Damascus (at 25:44) and, when he wears pants and wants a fixed blade, the Tactile Knife Co. Redhawk, “10 times out of 10” (at 27:59).

WE Knife Inmate and Kizer Drop Bear Zero

His most carried knives of 2026 up to May 30 start with the WE Inmate, his own design (at 3:29). The Kizer Drop Bear Zero is his most carried affordable knife (at 10:08), and “I have every color option,” he says (at 10:49).

He has carried the Vosteed Porcupine TiSlim “pretty much every day” (at 6:55), and the MachineWise Mojave is his most carried ultra-premium knife (at 26:40).

Victorinox Swiss Tool Spirit MX Clip

He calls himself “a multi-tool first person” who puts a multitool ahead of a folding knife (at 16:04). The tool he believes in most is the Victorinox Swiss Tool Spirit MX Clip (at 16:21).

For his house renovation he kept a Klein Flickblade utility knife in his pocket (at 12:32).

Ten days before this video, he picked five knives to keep forever, starting with a Cold Steel Voyager XL (at 3:15).

TRM Neutron 2

In his Apr 18, 2026 review of TRM’s new frame lock Neutron, he calls the liner lock Neutron 2 “one of my most carried knives” (at 15:29). He carries a fancier one more often, “just cuz it’s fancier and I’m fancy.”

His newest video about his own carry is from Jul 6, 2024. There he said that if he could keep only one knife, “there’s a decent chance” it would be the Neutron (at 7:27).

Victorinox Compact

“It’s been in my pocket every single day. It’s my most carried knife for sure” (at 2:10). His Victorinox Compact wears Micarta scales he made himself, and he added a Phillips screwdriver (at 1:34).

On carpentry jobs a Milwaukee Fastback 6-in-1 utility knife is in his pocket too (at 2:20).

His “top 10 most carried knives over the last few months,” folding knives only, in the order he shows them. The Kizer Drop Bear Zero is his most carried Kizer knife to date (at 8:33). Of his Bel Airs, the olive CPM 3V XL “has been getting the most pocket time,” he says, maybe because it is his newest (at 2:48).

He left two of his own designs off the list, though both get a lot of pocket time (at 0:07). One is the Pyro, made with BladeBinge. The other, a Divo Fireball Integral prototype, is “the one I’ve been carrying the most” (at 0:48).

WE Knife Inmate

His number one carry for March 2026 is the WE Inmate, the knife Neeves Knives designed (at 9:31). “At first, I didn’t know if I was going to like it or not,” he says (at 9:47).
